Prof. Wooram Park, Ph.D
Dr. Wooram Park is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Integrative Biotechnology at Sungkyunkwan University of Korea since 2022. He majored in Biotechnology and received his Ph.D. degree from the Catholic University of Korea in 2015 (Advisor: Prof. Kun Na). He worked as a post-doctoral researcher in the Department of Radiology at the Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine (USA, 2015-2017, Advisor: Prof. Dong-Hyun Kim and Prof. Andrew C. Larson). He has focused on the development of novel biomaterials and their applications in cancer immune therapy, image-guided drug delivery, and tissue engineering. He was awarded the Young Scientist Award from the Korean and Japanese Society for Biomaterials (2013). Prof. Park has authored/co-authored more than 100 peer-reviewed research papers including Journal of the American Chemical Society, Advanced Functional Materials, ACS Nano, ACS Central Science, Biomaterials, Small, and ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces.
